I made a layout and a card. The layout came together quickly. I inked the pink cardstock with white brilliance ink and layered several snowflakes. Simple and cute!
Supplies: cardstock (DCWV), patterned paper (Doodlebug), stickers (Doodlebug), letter stickers (Doodlebug, Scenic Route), vellum snowflakes (unknown), acrylic snowflakes (Cloud 9), glaze pen (Sakura), snowflakes punches (Martha Stewart), ink (Brilliance)
Next I decided to make a card. I started with Quikutz flourish die, I cut it first from the green paper and than just the flowers from the blue paper scraps. All supplies for this card came from my scrap drawers. I even don't remember the manufacturer.
Supplies: die (Quickutz), stamp (Hero Arts), corner punch (Fiskars), acrylic stickers (Cloud 9), glaze pen (Sakura)
The green patterned paper I wanted to use has pink polka dots. I re-colored them with my blue glaze pen - custom patterned paper in a minute!
I love themboth. They're both minimalistic, the way I like it, and I love the embelishments you chose. Also, changing the dots color on the patterned paper - a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating in our challenge. Hope to see you again in coming weeks.
I love the way you adapt your existing items - papers etc - by colouring or re-painting. Very thrifty and effective!
ReplyDeleteSo so pretty! Love the color scheme too!
