Scrapbowl projects

A layout with the pictures from the Hop Sock party. I finally used the puddle skirt diecut that bought ages ago and some paper from the old Pine Cone Press kit.

A layout from the class with Tia Bennett.
My Finish Line album. I am posting the cover and only few pages that don't include the pictures of my sweet nephew.

The photo above with eggplants is cropped by Stacy Julian herself :)

That's all for now. Hope to finish more projects next week.

Scrapbowl - part II

My second day satrted with a class with adorable Tia Bennett She taught a needle felting technique - so cool! Can't wait to finish the projects, this is definately something I want to do more.

Check the felting needle - it is huge! You would not want to poke yourself with it.

The next was class with Stacy Julian. I almost finished my album but was completely washed out after 3 hours class. That was super intense!

Here is Paula from BPS.

After the class I was too tired to work on my stuff, so I took a mini class with Emily Adams. She did the cutest mini album with chipboard birds.

On sunday I took 2 classes. The first one was with Shimelle I loved making the paper quilt and stitch on the paper. I really need a sewing machine!

The last class was with Donna, who was just hilarious and so much fun.

I didn't finish any of the projects in class but liked all of them. My friend Miri picked me up from the expo center and took me to their place. It was so good to spend some time with them. I slept great and the next morning I took the metro to Washington DC. My flight was not before 6:50pm, so I left my suitcases at the Union Station and went for a walk. The weather was AWESOME. Warm enough for short sleeves and sunny. Boy, they have flowers in February and leaves on the bushes! Unbeliavable! I have pictures to prove it. So, to finish this long post, I will just say - it was FUN! Now I just need to finish the projects....

was such an exciting experience for me!
Listening to Stacy Julian's keynote speech, taking classes from all those creative (and famous in my world) people was so muchh fun and so inspiring. The mistake I made is to assume that I will have time to work on my stuff between the classes. Nope, I even didn't finish the class projects...

Here is my scrapbolw strory in pictures -
I arrived to Washington DC Friday afternoon, leaving behind frozen Milwaukee.

My suitcases arrived safely. I should mention that Ofir helped me packed. Isn't he sweet? Sue (thanks Sue!) picked me up from the airport, we had time to drop off my suitcases at the hotel, grab something to eat and be at the expo before the doors were opened. At 6pm the registrations began. Everything went very smooth. Here is Sue in the line to get her name badge.

The first thing what I did is to rush to the vendors area and to buy Stacy's new book "Photo Freedom" I bought one for myself and one to give away on Fiskateers MB. Here I am with my new treasure, trying to control my happy smile.

After that Sue and me went to the private reception with Stacy for people who took her Glimpses class on BPS. Brownies and milk were served :)

The evening ended with Stacy's speech and Sue take me back to the hotel. I still had all my stuff in the room so I made the small tag book to collect the authograps. That was my friend's Carrie idea. Thanks Carrie!

Here is all for part I. More is coming!

It is snowing! Again!

View from our family room.
This winter we have or snow, or cold, or snow and cold together. Brrrrrr.....
