I have something fun to share. I will be joining Scrap-A-Latte Design Team. You can see the announcement here on Scrap-A-Latte new blog. Isn't it a fun name for the store?? Since my favorite drink is latte I think it is going to be a great fit for me! :)

I submitted this layout for the DT call. I made it few months ago but didn't have a chance to share. I took this picture of Ella last summer on one of our nature trips. She is looking through the magnifying glass at some tiny river creatures. She spent about 15 minutes there, listening to the guide and exploring the content of the bucket. She is my nature girl.

I used "Life Stories" kit from My Mind's Eye. I made a photo mat punching around the edge with Martha Stewart punches and waved a piece of twine in between the laced scallops. Chipboard letters are really old, they are from Li'l Davis.

 

Supplies: patterned paper, diecuts (My Mind's Eye), chipboard letters (Li'l Davis), letter stickers (Doodlebug), punches (Martha Stewart), twine

 

All tags and diecuts that I used came with the kit. I wrapped a length of twine around the ticket and added it to the layout with several pop dots. I also used pop dots for the picture itself with it's laced border. In real life it really stands out.
