And we are back!
The next day after Lila and me came back from Colorado we were on the flight to Israel. As expected it was long and exhausting experience but everything was forgotten as soon ad we entered the arriving hall atthe airport and saw my sister and my dad and Ofir's parents.
We had just one day to get adjusted to the time difference before the wedding.
The wedding was lovely. It reminded me the times when every few months we were invited to a wedding. We went to them all first as a dating couple, than as married couple and than with baby Lila. 10 years past ... Lila is not a baby but a lovely young lady. But what's that?? I have another baby. Life is full of surprises :)
I just love this photo of them! The photo is by professional photographer. (Note to myself - find his name and edit this post)
Before we left to Colorado I managed to finish this frame with the wedding invitation. Layers of mod-podged Heidi Grace paper and handmade ribbon flowers. I made a simple card to go with the frame.
I will post few more pictures from the wedding and from the trip in the next few days.

Gold medal
Pure happiness
It is our 5th day in Colorado at Midwestern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships. The day started at 4am with a shower for me, nagged breakfast for Lila, than getting into the competition dress, making the hair, sewing the the hair, the headpiece and the bow in place and getting to the rink. 7am the preliminary flight began. Wisconsin Edge skated 5th and we knew they had a great solid skate. They did whatever they could and now we just had to wait and see how other team did. After all 9 teams had skated and some nervous waiting time we got the results - 1st place. It was a terrific ending of the season. For preliminary level it is the highest competition they can be in. The team parents are so proud of the girls. Go Edge!

Fiskars Friday - treat pouch with decorative corner
5. Fold one corner of the triangle just below the punched design. See the photo.
6. Fold the second corner.
7. Open the created pocket and fold one side down. With the finger, tuck in the bottom of the pouch - this will allow the pouch to stand (with some help :-) )
8. Decorate as desired. I used the XL scallop heart and L heart punches and some raindots
The idea for the pouch is from the 3D Design Challenge blog.
More Fiskars Fridays: Debby from Debby's Dare shows how to used Fiskars border punch.

Mid-America Synchronized Skating Championships
After some experiments with different sizes and designs I decided what I want to do and 8 hours later I had 19 little beaded bracelets with shrinky dink charms and a huge mess.
I finished the enveloped in the hotel room. One side of the charm has an ice skate image, the other side has the monogram.
As for the competition, the girls did great! The skated beautifully and took the second place!

Welcome my little friend
Do you know the feeling when you get a new toy and you just HAVE to play with it?? When I opened an envelope from Gretchen and saw the most adorable owl die that she sent me, the only thing I wanted to do is to make owls :) I pulled 3 papers from my scrap drawers and made this cute birdie. I don't have any plans for him yet, probably he will just live in my basement/scrap space. This die was designed by Gretchen. She is the most talented girl! How sweet of her was to send me the die!
Few days after that I made another one to for a layout. It is one of the layouts I made for Crystal. You can read the story here. I used Creative Keepsakes paper and Becky Fleck's pagemap.
