Favorite Things Friday - Adhesive

Another Favortie Things Friday at Scrap It Girl. Today we all share our favorite adhesive. Here are my favorites:

I have my ATG 700 for years, long before they started to make it in pink and sell to scrapbookers ;-) I use it for everything. If I need to adhere tiny or very thin pieces, like titles cut with Silhouette, I will use the glue pen. My current one is by Martha Stewart.

I love adding dimension to my layout and I was always a big fan of pop-dots. In the last year or so I switched to foam mounting tape. I like that it is a little thinner than pop-dots and that I cut it how I want.

Favorite Things Friday - Crafty Storage

Time for another Favorite Things Friday post! The Scrap It Girl Design Team shares favorite crafty storage items.

I decided to share how I store my ribbons. For now this is the most organized area in my scraproom.
I store my ribbons in one from the  drawers of my Michael's craft cubes. The dividers came with the drawers. I started by wrapping the ribbons around a 3x3 piece of cardboard but later I started to use  Cropper Hopper dividers cut in squares. They are supposed to be used as dividers for the paper holders in but I had a lot of extras. I cut them in squares and they work perfect. If I know the ribbon brand I put a little sticky label.

The drawer contains all ribbons that are longer than 12". The shorter lengths of ribbon are hanging on my slot wall using binder clips.

Favorite Things Friday - Craft Tool

Time for another Favorite Things Friday post! The Scrap It Girl Design Team shares our favorite craft tool. I have lots of fancy tools that I love and use but I decided to pick something that I use ALL the time - scissors. Not just any scissors but my orange Fiskars scissors.  I couldn't pick only one pair so here they are, three pairs of my most favorite scissors.

The top pair is Fiskars Titanium Non-Stick Scissors. I love the soft grip and they are perfect for cutting pieces of adhesive foam tape that I use all the time now.

The second pair is classic Fiskars 8" scissors. My name is engraved on the blades and they are a gift from Fiskars. Of course I love them!

The bottom pair is Fiskars Comfort Grip Micro-Tip Scissors. The handles are super comfortable and the micro-tip blades allow for very detailed cutting.

Do I sound like Fiskars commercial? ;-) Sorry, I love my scissors.

Favorite Things Friday

Hello Friday! Today and every other Friday, together with the Scrap It Girl Design Team, I will be sharing one of my favorite things.  Today we are sharing our favorite handmade project.

Choosing only one project from thousands I made is so hard. They are my babies and they all are my favorites :) I was scrolling through the pictures of my layouts and that one struck a chord with me.

I actually remember when Ofir took this pictures and I think  can still feel Eli's tiny breath on my skin.

Here are three reasons why I chose this layout.
1. The picture, no need to explain this one.
2. Simple layout with fun techniques - machine stitching, painting and fussy cutting
3. The layout was made as a response to a challenge to use words from a song. I would never make this layout without this challenge. I love doing challenges because they make me step out of my comfort zone and stretch my creative muscles.
