Project Life - Week 3

Weekly spread with the insert.

Weekly spread with the back side of the insert.

Flap that hides the "silly" picture from the drama club photo shoot.

This week I designed to mic in some stickers from the Sketchbook collection by Amy Tan. I think it will be a good addition to my album. I added four stickers to one of the title cards from the Seafoam kit to embellish the back side of the flap.

A little hand stitching.

Back side of the insert. I made the collage in Picasa and printed it as 8x10. The page protector is trimmed to the 8.5x10 size.

Little heart is hand cut from the American Crafts glitter tape.

I cut a vellum envelope with Silhouette to store the receipts from our visit to IKEA.

I wish I could say it takes me less time now. Not really! But I can say that I enjoy this project tremendously.

I am linking up with Project Life Tuesday over at the Mom Creative.

Project Life is a memory keeping system designed by Becky Higgins.

  1. The hand stitching details are really adorable. And I feel the same way about IKEA - if I'm passing by one, I need to stop! :)

  3. I agree with Laura - I love the idea of hand stitching, what a great idea! And you guys - I live 2.9 miles from an IKEA. I can ALMOST see it from my living room window and I drive by it EVERY DAY because my kids' daycare is RIGHT next to it. When we first moved (in November) I was convinced we'd be bankrupt by the end of 2012. LOL.

  4. Great pictures and wonderful details. I, too, love the hand stitching.

  5. Such a lovely spread! really love the flip up and the stitching!!

  6. Great layouts. Love the hand stitching and the skating collage. Looks wonderful!
