Beach bum

Few days ago I saw that SEI is having a DT call. I thought I will make a page for the call but didn't have any new SEI products. I checked my LSS and found few sheets of the paper from SEI "On the coast" collection. I knew they will be perfect for our beach pictures from Israel, but only when I started to put this page together I noticed that the black and white flower paper perfectly matches Eli's hat.

Lots of texture and dimension here. I used pop dots and stong adhesive to create the "waves" from the paper strips. My little banner is done with a circle punch and adhesive fabric tape from Love My Tapes I added few sea stars cut out from the patterned paper. Love how it all turned out. When I look at the layout I almost can smell the sea and feel the hot sand.
Supplies: cardstock (unknown), patterned paper (SEI), chipboard sun (unknown), letter stickers (Heidi Swapp), ink (Brilliance, colorbox), foam sticker (SEI), cardstock stickers (Me and My Big Ideas), fabric tape (Love My Tapes), circle punch (Fiskars)

  1. Love the waves! A cute and creative idea.

  2. Love the banner! Love the starfish & may have to lift that idea. Love using stars on A's pages.

  3. Great LO! Did you photoshop that pic to make the sky and water so blue?

  4. Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing your story on my blog! The textures and layers are perfect for a beachy theme.
