This month I am a Guest Designer for
Scrappy Times. I made this layout for their February challenge. The challenge was to use the lyrics from the song
Valentine by Martina McBride. I wasn't sure what to do with this challenge first since we are not celebrating Valentine Day but decided to use the words from the song together with my favorite picture of Eli and me together.

I picked 2 sheets of patterned paper and matching cardstock, adhered them to the neutral cardstock base and brushed a thin layer of distressed crackle paint diluted with some water.

I stitched a decorative border with my sewing machine and added blue pearls.
Supplies: cardstock (Bazzill, Wausau Paper), patterned paper (Anna Griffin), distress paint (Tim Holtz), acrylic hearts (Heidi Swapp), letter stickers (Making Memories), pearls (Recollections)The challenge is still on. Read about it
here The challenge will run till the end of the month - plenty of time to enter!
